2009 YOUNG SCIENTIST AWARDS:

In 1993 the SCC initiated a program to recognize the achievements of the younger scientists working in the cosmetic industry called the Young Scientist Award.

The selective criteria are left to the judgment of the respective companies. The recipient may only receive the Award once. Recommendations should be submitted directly to the Society of Cosmetic Chemists, which shall verify the eligibility oF the recipient.

The presentation of the Award is made annually during the fourth quarter and can be accomplished by one of two methods. These include public presentation at a Chapter meeting or by the individual companies who choose to make private presentations. This Award has been designed to recognize the achievements of younger scientists while giving the respective companies the opportunity to encourage professionalism in their employees.
