Technical Sales Representative – Northeast & East Coast Territory

Job Summary:

 

An Emergent Technologies, Inc. portfolio company, Reveal Science, is seeking a talented individual to lead research and development of personal and consumer color changing products. This position will independently formulate new products, conduct sensory evaluations, report results and maintain laboratory equipment. Chemist is expected to develop formulation ideas, demonstrate creativity and work in a team environment. The successful candidate will perform hands-on development and testing of personal care products and consumer tests.

 

Skills and Work Performed:

 

·   Scientific understanding of dye applications

·   Synthesis, characterization, and purification of organic and protein-based dyes

·   Chemical modification processes for dyes/proteins for enhanced performance

·   Stability or reactivity Covalent coupling processes for dyes and proteins

·   Design and perform experiments and summarize all results for both written reports and oral presentations

·   Develop, prepare and characterize prototypes such as soaps, cosmetics, moisturizers and others

·   Test and optimize products

·   Working knowledge of modern analytical and chromatographic techniques.

·   Excellent communication and presentation skills

·   Work independently as well as in a team environment

 

Education / Experience:

·   PhD, MS or BS degree in Chemistry, Biology, Cosmetic Sciences or related discipline

·   5 years of experience in a laboratory, preferably life science industry

·   Preference given to individuals with experience in dye chemistry

We seek a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategies for developing sales in emerging markets including medical, cosmeceutical, nutracosmetic for technologies derived from whey, flax, olive and others as appropriate.

Chemist/ Compounder Needed

Spa Technologies International is a small company based on Long Island that provides products to the spa market across the country.  We need a chemist/compounder to do small production batches for us.  Our main manufacturing is subcontracted but we have need of an individual who can make pilot batches for us.

What we require:

1.  Someone with a few years experience in the manufacturing arena with knowledge of protocols for good manufacturing practices.
